Who would you pick to replace Arsenal’s missing players against Man United?

Will Arsenal injuries prove costly against United? By Twig

Arsenal clash with Manchester United in a must win game on Saturday. Aside the small personal battle between Wenger and Mourinho (which neither manager admits!), we need a win to keep momentum with Liverpool at the top of the table.

However, Arsenal hopes for a good showing against United have greatly dampened in recent weeks. Bellerin had, it appears, picked up an injury in the last 10 seconds against Spurs, and will not be available. He has certainly been one of our top performers and will be sorely missed. Sanchez was at his best for Chile against Uruguay, but the massive bandage on his thigh will surely make United fans hopeful!

Cazorla is still on the sidelines and it appears no one knows when he’ll be back. His importance to Arsenal cannot be overstated. We’ve struggled for wins and dominance ever since his injury against Ludogorets. Cazorla has been getting increasingly injury prone these days, and more worryingly, he seems to take a while in getting back.

As if that isn’t bad enough, it has just emerged that Theo Walcott might also be unavailable. However his absence is as a result of less distressing reasons, as Theo and Melanie are expecting their second child anytime from now! The good thing is should Theo make the game on Saturday, he’ll certainly be extra motivated to get on the scoresheet and get to do that famous Bebeto celebration!

So do you think Arsenal has enough strength in depth to dispatch Manchester United on Saturday? If all the listed players are not available, which players should replace them?
