Arsenal in for BIG trouble from Hull?

Arsenal must heed warnings from results by DN

It sometimes seems as though the old football saying that there are no easy games is bit of a cliche, especially for Arsenal fans in recent years. One thing the Gunners have been brilliant at is making our supposed superiority count against the teams we are expected to beat.

Next up for Arsenal is a team we are supposed to beat in Hull City but I see a banana skin around the corner. Another overused football cliche is that the teams facing relegation are likely to cause an upset but it is really looking that way at the minute.

All of the clubs at the bottom are now hitting form and causing upsets or making it extremely tough, and the fact that so many of them are at it makes it look like it will go to the wire – and so none of them can ease up for a second. Hull desperately need a result off Arsenal and I can see them getting at least a draw if there is any complacency from us.

At least one of the threatened teams West Brom beat our Premier League rivals Man United yesterday and that gives the Gunners some breathing space. I hope I am completely wrong on this but I think we might be happy with a draw on Monday night.

  1. Money Mayweather does it again…Still undefeated 48-0
Sorry Manny. You just didnt bring enough to the throwdown…
    MTM…TBE

    1. that shows best form of attack is defense.. May weather showed it. Wenger show it by strengthening our defense more.. One more classy DM before anything else..

    2. Mayweather reminds me of damn Chelsea I wabted pacman to win but congrats to mayweather he’s a hell of a fighter. And @ny are you trying to say TMT not MTM?

      1. @Goonsquad8
It started out as MTM(Money Team Mayweather) which then became the clothing brand TMT(The Money Team)
Every fighter knows how technically gifted Floyd is. He picks and chooses his shots wisely and does not walk into punches as most fighters do. Brawlers like Pacman don’t stand a chance against him.
Chelsea, just like Floyd, proved the old saying”defense wins you matches/bouts”

  2. We should easily overcome Hull. That should be the level of our quality.Anything less than that wud be pathetic.

    1. this is the premier League…… Playing against any team isn’t a walk in the park….huLL had us in their pockets the other time…. Thought this was an honest opinion

  3. We have to beat huLL city, but huLL city have to try and stay in the premier League (no hard feelings against them)

    1. Sanchez is shit!
if sanchez doesn’t play we win for sure!
if he plays it might be a little tricky but i think arsenal can manage to get the win

  4. We are so leaving that KC stadium with maximum points, believe me. #No shaking#

  5. Still hoping that Chelsea will not win against Crystal Palace tonight even though chances of Arsenal winning the league are really low!

  6. Thats why focus is the key! We still need to be wary of our rivals, and not underestimate them! Any team in relegation trouble is like a wounded animal that is cornered, they will fight for their lives! But we should take of business and get the 3 points, after all its another fighting day at the office for the gunners! Coyg!

  7. Bob, good morning and happy Sunday to all of us that have something to do with Arsenal. Amen! To be warned is to be fore warned. If you see your fellow brother’s beard catches fire, it be wise for one to apply water on his own beard. Nevertheless, I don’t want us to worry on any possible ambush Steve Bruce and his Tigers outfit have planned to unleash on the Boss and the Gunners on Monday night at KC stadium. Such a game trap plan will certainly not catch the Boss and the Gunners as the Gunners will not fail to be fully armed with their selected precision rifles with high calibration to target and shoot down any Tiger attempting to attack any Gunner. Infact, there has been a report that has gone viral on the Football Social Media that, whatever be the outcome of the result that will emanate from the Bridge today’s afternoon. The Gunners have resolved and have put in place a plan to tame 4 Tigers and caged them and bring them to the Emirates Stadium exhibition room for the Gooners to see them. HCFC 0-4 AFC FT 90” +.

  8. One team that any team at the relegation zone in the EPL would not want to meet at this stage is Arsenal. If you look at the past two seasons we have always compounded their problems, infact we have helped sent a few on relegation. I feel sorry for Hull City because they might take the place of Sunderland or Leicester City. No backing down for the Gunners at this point.

  9. We will be lucky to get anything at the KC. We must get welbeck on the right and ramsey with the coq and ozil on the bench. If ramsey is on the wing then we will not win.

  10. A draw would be good? Seriously, it seems totally ridiculous to me to see anyone say that. We should be aiming to win every game until the end of the season because it is possible and it is what our current team is capable of. Going in negative is wrong. We are not guaranteed a win by a long shot but we have to go in there tooth and nail to fit for the win. Saying a point is an alright result is not good enough. Take it against Chelsea who are quality but not against a relegation team. They have grit – we have more!

  11. We need 13 points from 15 available and we will be assured of 2nd place. ManC have QPR, Swansea & Soton left…i fully expect them to take all 9 points putting them on 79.
Of our remaining fixtures – Hull and ManU away will be our toughest. Home to Sunderland (who are in a relegation scrap) will be our next toughest. Home to Swansea and WBA – we should be expected to take the points.
It’s vitally important we win at Hull – and I am sure AW will drive that home with the boys. There will be no lack of motivation when we play ManU – I am sure everyone will be up for it. There’s no room for any slip-ups in the final 5 games.
We have the quality to win the remaining 6 matches (incl Villa on May 30th), they have to stay focused on the job at hand and fight to the end.
Massive game vs Hull in the context of overall final placings – COYG!!!!
