Arsenal must make hay while sun shines in EPL

The next few weeks could turn out to be absolutely pivotal for Arsenal and out hopes of ending the 11 year wait and earning the right to lift the Premier League trophy at the end of this season. The Gunners have recovered from a shaky start and with none of our big Premier League rivals having made us pay, we are now in a great position.

Not only that, but our rivals are looking vulnerable to a concerted push and run of results from Arsenal. I see the biggest threat to Arsenal as Man City and so we must hope that their injury situation causes them to drop points in the coming weeks.

There are four EPL games before the next international break and City are going to be without their main men David Silva and Sergio Aguero as well as a few others. If they come away with maximum points from Bournemouth, Man United, Norwich City and Aston Villa, fair play to them but Arsenal must be ready to punish them if they don´t.

Liverpool and Chelsea will surely get better under Klopp and Mourinho but it might take a bit of time, so we need to make the gaps between us as big as possible before they start to flow. And Man United have a tough schedule ahead, with Everton away before Man City, Crystal Palace and West Brom.

So if Arsenal have realistic title hopes then I think it is vital for us to be leading the way when the next international break begins in November. If not, will we have blown our chance?

  1. Lets resume where we left off before the international break, an awesome victory against man u was sweet to saviour! Now lets back to business at usual, by getting 3 points at watford, and hey! a man city lost wouldnt be bad either! Coyg!

  2. What are the chances this weekend of a chelsea back to back lost? Wouldnt look pass it, just to give mourinho more sleepless nights!

  3. OT;This is a morale boosting international break
Walcot,Ramsey,Sanchez,Giroud Campbell,Chamberlain,Cazorla all on score sheets in their respective countries

    On loan players;Gnabry,Maitland-Niles,Akpom scored.

Ozil with sublime assist as usual

Bring them Watfors as they will find a rested destroyer-Coquelin in good form. Can’t wait for saturday

Van persie and Depay out of Europa championship

  4. Great assessment but for it to happen more so over the course of the season:
    1) Sanchez & Walcott must continue to score 1st and if not assist as they do at the moment
    2) Özil has to be consistent & help our offense flow continuously
    3) Gabriel & Bellerin must continue to progress the way they do
    4) Ox has to found some end product & be more strong defensively
    5) Cech has to keep pulling those saves
    6) Coquelin not getting injured + Ramsey & Cazorla getting a couple
    7) Wenger’s getting his tactics & subs close to on point albeit a few occasions

But the international break was great and with the schedule ahead we should be going full steam ahead!!GOONER!!

  5. This squad is good to go for EPL.
All we need is consistency throughout the season.
That’s the biggest attribute of any EPL winner over the last seasons. Consistency and hardwork.
