Danny Welbeck proves that hard work brings results!

If all the Arsenal fans were jumping for joy when Danny Welbeck scored our winner just ten minutes after coming onto the pitch for the first time this season, then just imagine how Dat Guy was feeling himself!

He explained how hard he had to work just to get himself onto the pitch. “It’s been a long time off the pitch, the longest period of time that I’ve spent off playing matches in my career,” he said on Arsenal.com. “It’s difficult, and with a few headlosses along the way.

“I think you’ve just got to try to stay positive. I had a lot of great help behind the scenes with the medical staff and with James Haycock, who worked with me personally and was great. I think hard work eventually pays off.

“It was a wonderful feeling to get that winning goal at the end. It was just very important for us to get the three points.

“With the type of game it was, it was close right until the end and thankfully we got the goal.

“As soon as I saw Mesut line it up, I just tried to get myself into a nice position, in behind the line of defence. Thankfully it came in my direction and I got the right glance on it.

“I don’t even know what I was doing [afterwards], the facials were going crazy! I’ve seen a couple [of pictures] and it was just euphoria after and I jumped in the crowd.”

What a way him him to restart his season, it was simply amazing. And it seems that if he hadn’t worked so hard he would not have even been in the squad. Wenger admitted after the game: “Yes, on Friday morning I was not convinced that I would include him in the squad, because I planned to play him next week,”

“I was going to give him one more week training, but his last two training sessions were so convincing that I decided to include him.

“It paid off today, and we are all very pleased for him.”

I bet Wenger is just as happy as Welbeck was when he scored. We have Sanchez back, we have Coquelin back, we have El neny, Iwobi and Chambers fighting for a place, and we have Walcott back on the score sheet. Wenger can afford some rotation for next weeks FA Cup and our best team will be fresh for Barcelona.

Onwards and Upwards!

I would like to see El Nenny and Iwobi given more chance to impress. Chambers looks very interesting in defence and DM as well. I believe we’re only utilizing about 60% of our squad’s potential.

It’s obvious that Chambers is more comfortable in the centre than on the right so his future is either as a CB or a DM imo, I personally think it will be CB. I think Wenger is playing him as a DM to improve his awareness and passing but to also experience what it’s like playing against counter-attacking teams

Remember him for Manure against Real Madrid? Am sure he won’t be intimidated by Barca.

In ten minutes,he had two attempts on goal, both were on target and he scored One.
If Danny Welbeck continues with them stats, he will end up winning the premier league golden boot award. 😉😜

I wonder what price he is to finish premier league’s top scorer? 😲 I’m serious 😉😂

I have a feeling AW will underestimate hull and put a weak team out when he should get out team out to play themselves in to form. We won’t win next week in the CL and I will get thums down ? Shock. But the truth is we can only try and win the EPL and give it our all in the FA cup.
