Arsenal saviour emerges as a target for Serie A giants Inter Milan

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang emerges as a January target for Inter Milan.

Arsenal has a serious fight on their hand in their bid to keep hold of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang beyond this season.

The Gunners have been struggling for form but Aubameyang has been playing his part perfectly as he has netted 51 times in 82 games for the Gunners.

He scored twice for them over the weekend, but their poor defending cost them two points and it seems hard to think that they can make the top four this year.

Star Sports claims that Inter Milan is looking at the Gabonese attacker and they could make a move for him next month.

The report claims that Antonio Conte is a huge admirer of the former Borrusia Dortmund man and he may look to sign him in the next transfer window.

Inter is only the latest in the line of clubs to be linked with a move for him.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for Aubameyang who could start speaking to clubs to leave for free in a year’s time.

Arsenal is keen to keep hold of their best players but that won’t be easy to do if they fail to qualify for the next Champions League.

  1. He relies a lot on his pace, and he turns 31 next June. It could be smart selling him for big bucks, especially if he’s not keen to sign an extension. Do we really want to give a 3-4 year extension to a 30-year old striker, when he’s asking for 200-250k a week? I think this will be a problem next summer, not next month.

In January, we need a CB and a CDM. Ship out Xhaka to increase funds.

  2. This is complete nonsense! They’ve only just signed Lukaku, and young Martinez is on fire. They have a great partnership as well. I get that most rumours are made up, but at least try and make them half believable!

AFTV has been getting flak for speaking the truth, yet as always with the mainstream media, it’s okay to put out these completely fabricated stories. Isn’t this story trying to rock the boat, and unsettle things at the club?

  3. I would love to see what Brendan Rogers could do at Arsenal. But on the other hand, the move doesn’t make sense considering how well Leicester is doing so far. Why leave behind a half finished work?

BR is a good manager and would do a good job for most teams
Like you said why would he come to us
Freddie is the man to take us forward at this moment in time
We are in such a mess not only on the field but upstairs as well.
Who every takes the post. They have there work cut out for them
It’s only by grace that we are only 1 point off from 5th spot
A total shambolic set up with leaders seemingly leading us nowhere
Thank good We support the badge and not the idiots running the lunatic asylum as this how it feels right now
I normally say onwards and upwards but feel like we are dropping like a stone at the moment

  5. Sell Auba he is getting on with age there is plenty more strikers out there get good money for him and move on. No 1 player is bigger than Arsenal
