How Arsenal WILL win the Premier League!

The Gunners are now four points from the top of the table, and if their bums start squeaking then Arsenal are poised to make them suffer at the end of the season. How is that going to happen?

You may well ask, and here we have the answer! One of our readers (Thanks BasilJunior) has painstakingly worked out the results of every single Arsenal and Chelsea game until the end of the season, and this is what he has come up with……

Arsenal beat Burnley and now have: 66pts.
Chelsea vs QPR, Chelsea wins: 73pts.
Chelsea vs Man Utd, Man Utd wins: 73pts.
Arsenal wouldn’t play bcoz of the FA Cup semi: 66pts.
Chelsea vs Arsenal: Arsenal wins, Chelsea 73pts, Arsenal 69pts.
Chelsea vs Leicester, game in hand ends in a draw for Chelsea: 74pts.
Chelsea vs Crystal Palace, Chelsea wins: 77pts.
Arsenal vs Hull city, Arsenal wins: 72pts.
Chelsea vs Liverpool, Chelsea lose: 77pts.
Arsenal vs Swansea, Arsenal wins: 75pts.
Chelsea vs West Brom, Chelsea wins: 80pts.
Arsenal vs Man Utd, Arsenal wins: 78pts.
Arsenal vs Sunderland, Arsenal wins their game in hand, goes top with 81pts.
Final day Chelsea vs Sunderland, Chelsea wins: 83pts.
Arsenal vs West Brom, Arsenal wins: 84pts

FINAL TABLE standings
Arsenal (Champions) 84pts
Chelsea 83pts

BasilJunior COYG!!

I’m not sue if Basil has a crystal ball, but I will be watching these results every week ticking them off as they arrive. I wonder what price we can get from the bookies on Arsenal winning it? It just might be possible……

A lot of people are assuming that because Chelsea have only lost twice that they are unlikely to lose again, yet they forget that Chelsea have also drawn 7 (could be 8 after QPR) which is also a source of dropped points. At this point in time draws are almost as bad as losses, particularly if we are winning, it’s essentially 2 points dropped. They could quite easily draw 5, and lose 1 (against us) and drop the required points. It’s wishful thinking, but United beating them could really put a shiver down moaning Moureen’s back.

Agreed.bro.was also wandering why dont people include daws in their ‘predictions’ coz i also believe that the source of many dropped points will be draws.and looks like am watching one already!

I honestly think the Chelsea game will be Wenger’s first win over Mourinho. I believe we have enough to beat Chelsea but don’t underestimate Remy. He is a quality striker

When it comes to the PL, if Chelsea win then they will be 7 points with a game in hand. So I’m not thinking about that. Maintaining 2nd is priority and realistic at the moment

But now we need 100% concentration on Reading

    BTW

QPR has scored 8 goals in last 3 games, so QPR taking a point or 3 at home from Chelsea is not impossible. So don’t rule them out entirely

Why has Cesc come in fancy dress? Are the celebrating winning the league already?

more false hope, nice. League is over, the goal is to finish as high as possible and win FA Cup. In other news Gazidis says he’s not happy with 2nd place. Glad to hear some Arsenal executives are actually ambitious.

Stop this crap.. I want us to win titles but come on now, we are starting to give ourselves deluded and false targets.

Chelski are 4 points ahead and have 2 games in hand. If we were about 4-6 points behind level on games then I would understand.

If this Chelsea game ends in a draw or a QPR win then I’d say it could still be possible highly unlikely but possible just because Chelsea still have to play us, Liverpool, Man U & crystal palace probably the most inform teams in the PL at the moment.

and we were crap the beginning of the season so why do we deserve it? Stop being deluded. Team with the most points deserves the title.

Chelsea have lost just two games all season. They aren’t going to lose 3 or 4 in just 8 games. Yes they’re playing some big teams, but they don’t lose big games. Mourinho will get every single player in the Chelsea box so it’ll be near impossible for United, Liverpool or us to score. United and Liverpool also play at Stamford Bridge, where Mourinho has only ever lost one or two games as Chelsea manager? He isn’t going to lose both in quick succession.

This also assumes we will win every game until the end of the season, beating Chelsea at home, and United at Old Trafford. Wenger has never beaten Mourinho and winning at Old Trafford is no easy task, we managed it a few weeks ago, but doing it again will be tough, especially since United have hit form.

Everything points to Chelsea comfortably winning the league. They have an experienced squad and manager to see it out. All that being said, this is football, anything can happen.

somebody sane finally! Even if Chelsea dont get 3 points today they still have a game in hand to create a 7 point gap with 6 games left to play. Not enough games left, simple as that. Dont know why some fans are deluding themselves either. This is what happens when we only play well for one half of a season.

Deluded fans think we can win, even deluded Wenger knows we can’t.

Opinions divided. What do you think? Thumb up 6 Thumb down 17

Drogba interfered with allowing the keeper to go up the pitch. If he hits the ball straight it might go right into Drogba’s head.

Haha. What?! Chelsea to draw at home against Leicester!!! Chelsea to lose at home against Liverpool!!!

Fans need to get real. Chelsea have only lost 2 games all season for a reason…they are very tough to beat. I would love to see us win the league, but you have to be realistic.

Chelsea have Hazard, Cesc, Costa, Cuadrado, Oscar and they still manage to be THE MOST BORING TEAM IN THE LAND! They got very lucky today…actually they have been very lucky since the start of 2015….scums.

Chelsea won the league in November really. Everyone was scared of them after all that ‘Invincibles’ nonsense was started before the season had even began. It’s almost as if the media won the league for them. Since the loss at Newcastle, they’ve wilted a little, but they’ve always been too far ahead.

Chelsea win against QPR and pundits say, that’s what champions are made of.

We win at a tougher Burnley while playing better and they say, we are lucky to win.

This year competition was boring as fack as Chelsea won it early one. Only 2 games they have lost. We as a team are playing good right now, but we always play good when the pressure is off.

We are superp 4th place team, but a joke of Epl title runner. The fact that we have been beaten from Monaco tells everything. We tend to kick our self on the balls, and only then we wake up and try to clean our mess up, but often to late, coz other teams like Chelsea dont bs the way we do. Man, bloody Fabregas liftin the trophy, f**k youuu Cesc.

i don’t think Arsenal deserve or even can catch Chelsea and it is partly due to the fact that arsenal lost against Southampton,Swansea,Man Utd,Spurs and draws with Hull,Liverpool have made the gunners really shaky and partly due to the combination or missed chances and below average players like the injured trio who have returned from injury without “Diaby”.

This is why people laugh at our fans. Let us focus on 2nd, Manchester United are playing some real good football and they will still remember that we knocked them out. It wont be easy.
