Arsenal have reportedly decided on the future of Gabriel Jesus as the forward continues his recovery from injury. The Brazilian has been sidelined since the start of the year due to a serious issue, and his absence was felt throughout the second half of the campaign. Many believe that missing a player of his calibre may have contributed to Arsenal’s inability to secure either the Premier League or Champions League title last season.
Jesus has been an important figure at the Emirates since his arrival from Manchester City. While his goal tally has not always met expectations, his overall contribution to the team has remained valued by manager Mikel Arteta, who has consistently seen him as one of the key members of the squad.
Changing Dynamics in Arsenal’s Attack
During Jesus’s time on the sidelines, Arsenal have undergone several changes in attack. Most notably, the club recently completed the signing of Viktor Gyökeres, who is expected to lead the line as the first-choice striker. Behind him, Kai Havertz is also set to feature prominently in the forward line. As a result, Jesus is now regarded as third or possibly even fourth in the attacking hierarchy.
This shift raises questions about the Brazilian’s future role at the club. With increased competition for places and a need for consistent performance, opportunities for Jesus could become limited once he returns to full fitness. In this context, his long-term position in the team appears uncertain.

Transfer Possibility on the Table
According to Football Insider, Arsenal are now open to selling Jesus and would allow him to return to Brazil if a significant offer is presented. While the forward remains under contract, the club are prepared to sanction a move should suitable terms be agreed. His recent injury complicates the prospect of a sale, but he is now considered available for transfer.
With limited chances of regular playing time upon his return, Jesus may need to consider a move this summer. A transfer could offer him the chance to restart his career and regain momentum elsewhere, particularly if he hopes to secure a place in Brazil’s national setup moving forward.

I think Gabriel Jesus should not be sold. Before he got injured he was in a good form, scoring five goals in two matches. Ge is a wounderful player to have at Arsenal FC.
Surely the main point is that he couldn’t sustain that “good form” because he was injured yet again. He’s injury-prone and that’s what happens.
As to that good form, he scored a total of seven goals in all competitions last season (so that goal spurt represented almost the entire total), the lowest in his three seasons at Arsenal, and the total has been decreasing across each of those three (11 in 2022-23, 8 in 2023-24 and 7 in 2024-25). Hardly encouraging, is it.
I would like to see Jesus sold, but I’m not sure who’d buy him.
Arsenal has always been very unfortunate at start of season, for the last Two seasons. Remember early signing Timber playing in a quarter of the first game and onto the injury list for the rest of the season; last season Skelly’s revelation was a result of the entire 1st choice left backs getting injured. Tomiyasu, California & Zichenco. We need to retain Jesus until he is fit to play again. We. Any guarantee 100% injury free strikers;
Gasses after 30 minutes and has a whopping 65% injury ratio. Please get him out
To be fare to Jesus in his first season up until he got his first injury, he was the live wire of the front line. But since coming back from that first injury, he’s never rediscovered his original form.
He has in very short burst’s, but the club just can’t rely on him. And as harsh as it sounds, he’s a financial strain on Arsenal’s resources. Harsh but never the less true.
Leave Jesus to remain in arsenal, he is a very good and talented player, in his form, he will do wonders on the pitch for arsenal. Not too many players have the ability and skills Jesus has on the ball.
Emmy,
It’s time to get real. I’m assuming he’s one of your favorite players. As good as he was when he first joined, his injury record is a big problem. And as for when he’s on form, there’s nine months in every season. We simply haven’t got enough time to wait for him to hit form. Sad but true.🤷♂️
Nice guy. Works hard for the team. But dreadfully wasteful finisher. Plus he can’t stay fit. His wages are ridiculously high as well. Time to move on.
