Arsenal reportedly looking to offload outcast to a Bundesliga club

Report – Arsenal planning to send Granit Xhaka back to the Bundesliga.

Arsenal is plotting to sell Granit Xhaka to the Bundesliga in January so claims the latest transfer rumours.

Xhaka has been at the receiving end of some harsh criticisms from the Arsenal fans in recent times. It reached boiling point in their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

The midfielder was jeered as he was being substituted by Unai Emery and he responded by swearing at the crowd.

He failed to apologise for his actions until the following week and he may never play for the Gunners again.
Xhaka has since been stripped of the captaincy and hasn’t turned out for the Gunners since that incidence.

While the club has defended Xhaka, it appears he may never get the chance to rebuild his reputation at Arsenal.

Reports from CalcioMercato claims that Arsenal are looking to cash in on him. The report claims that Arsenal wants to sell Xhaka to a foreign side and are targetting clubs in the Bundesliga.

The 27-year-old was signed from Borussia Monchengladbach, but his former club has ruled out making a move for the Swiss captain.

I have no idea if there is any traction to these rumours but it does appear increasingly likely that Xhaka will be sold. Whether it is to a Bundesliga outfit is anyone’s guess at this moment in time.

The upside is that if Xhaka is sold in January Arsenal will most likely seek a replacement in the same transfer window.
