Arsenal have been active during the summer transfer window as they continue efforts to strengthen their squad and build on the progress made in recent seasons. The Gunners, regarded as one of the wealthiest clubs globally, have broken their transfer record on multiple occasions in recent years to secure high-profile players.
Since taking charge in 2019, Mikel Arteta has enjoyed consistent support from the club’s ownership and senior leadership. This summer, Arsenal have reinforced various areas of the team with some of the finest talent available, prompting confidence among fans that the side can compete for silverware, even if no further signings are made.
Confidence Growing Within Arsenal’s Camp
Arteta, while open to further additions, is likely to believe that the current squad already possesses the quality needed to challenge across all competitions. The blend of youth and experience under his leadership has turned Arsenal into genuine contenders.
However, given that Liverpool and Manchester City have also made significant improvements to their squads, there is a belief that Arsenal must do more to remain competitive at the highest level.

Eberechi Eze Seen as a Potential Game-Changer
As noted by Talk Sports’ Rory Jennings, one specific signing could be decisive. He stated: “I think the difference between Arsenal being a good team in the top four and a team totally capable of challenging Liverpool until the end of the season, it’s so easy.
“You go and sign Eberechi Eze.
“Without the Eze signing they don’t win the league. What Eze would do if he did end up playing for Arsenal, I think he would raise the tide.
“I think he would elevate everybody. All of sudden Bukayo Saka is a better player because he’s got someone like Eberechi Eze in the team.”
As rivals continue to strengthen, the need for Arsenal to maintain their own momentum is clear. Additional reinforcements may prove vital in ensuring the squad remains capable of sustaining a title challenge throughout the campaign.

And all before a ball has even been kicked in the 2025-26 season.
Right? Any number of things could happen that means it all turns out completely differently to what anyone predicts – like last season. Gotta love that in football.
Eze obviously adds more assurance of competing for titles. As would a star left winger, or really any other top notch creative player. But we haven’t seen how the team works with a dedicated 9 like Gyokeres yet. I’m convinced we’ll be at the top of the heap again, but we all know Liverpool’s sheer strength will be a major challenge to overcome regardless of any other factors (coaching, team depth, injuries, PGMOL etc). Man City will be stronger again this year as will Chelsea too. It’s going to be a great season for football, and once of the most challenging yet for our lads.
I agree to an extent as we haven’t seen them play a non-friendly match as a team.
I think we need EZE. He has creativity, accurate passer, great dribbling and a decent finisher too.
I hope we get him
Eberech Eze is the missing link for the Gunners to lift the EPL Trophy 🏆.
Arteta MUST GO FILL FORCE to sign EZE without any further delay.
