Jose Mourinho AGREES with the Arsenal Boss for a change!

The annoying Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is usually running Arsene Wenger down in one way or another, but I have finally found a subject that they both agree on. The Arsenal boss has been complaining about the Premier League not delaying the start of the season, so as to give the players enough time to recover.

Arsenal have had to give his World Cup Winners from Germany extra time off to recover from their exertions and this is why Wenger is annoyed. Wenger told Setanta: “We could have done with one week later in all the competitions,”

“The final of the World Cup was on July 13; the start of the Premier League season is August 16. If you want to give some holiday to the players, your preparation becomes very short,”

“If you don’t give players enough holiday or enough build-up in their preparation and play them straight away, then they get injured.”

Unsurprisingly Jose Mourinho also says that his own Brazilians and Belgians have also had to have an exteded break. He moaned: “This is modern football. It’s going in this tendency – more matches, more competitions, less time to work, even not enough time to have a real holiday for bodies and brains that top football players need.

“There’s not enough time,”

So there we have it. A real agreement between the two great rivals!

    He also had a dig with Pellegrini and Guardiola and went on yapping about how he “likes to build his teams”. Yeah, sure. Just like he did with Madrid and went to win squat!

  3. omggg, before the season even starts this rat is yapping his trap again. He’s such a waste of time that he doesnt even get me angry anymore. He’s just a joke and will be sacked in a heartbeat if he doesnt win a trophy this season. Focus should be on us today, lets get 3 points, and start the season off right 🙂

    1. The reason sub’s were introduced was for players to rest and allow the game to stay exciting. If they increase it to 4 then in a few years people will start say 5 then 6 and before you know it its 11 sub’s at half time so no really gets rested

      1. might as well have no subs then….used to be 2 only before they change to 3….

        players are human too…

        many other sports have multiple subs too….

        in modern football, changes have to be made 4 or 5 subs max shld be alllowed for competitive game

If someone had a knock on the head and was a little woozy what the heck is a manager to do if he used a sub already and is playing a man down due to a red earlier in the game. Play 9vs11 say for the last 10 minutes or ask the player if he’s alright when obviously he should being checked out. I would go one further and make the number 5.

      1. 4 for normal time…or 3 for players and 1 strictly for gk sub

        5th sub shld be used for extra time in cup competitions

    I don’t comment here much but i browse through all the comments on here atleast once everyday. I don’t stay in London , I’m from India and i hope to see great fan support at emirates this season. I have it in my bucket list to be able to get a season long membership to the Emirates and watch every home match. I hope everybody stays fit.     Anyways I said Man U is pretty much the same team as last year, minus a few veterans, plus a few overrated youngsters. Just shows you the damage Ferguson has done to this team at the end of his reign, caring only about his own glory in the short term.
