Bukayo Saka has made it clear that Arsenal are fully focused on reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League—a goal that requires them to eliminate Real Madrid at this stage of the competition.
The Gunners boast a number of highly talented individuals within their ranks, and the moment has arrived for the team to prove they are capable of competing with the very best in Europe. Facing Real Madrid is a daunting task, but it also presents a significant opportunity for Arsenal to demonstrate their progress under Mikel Arteta.
To have any chance of overcoming the reigning champions, Arsenal must perform at their highest level. This is a fixture in which they are likely to endure periods of pressure and adversity. However, if they approach the game with a clear tactical strategy and resilience, they can still emerge victorious.

It is crucial that the players are fully motivated and take full advantage of playing the first leg at home, ideally securing a lead to carry into the return fixture at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Saka, who has returned from injury just in time to contribute, has expressed both respect for the opposition and belief in his team’s ability to succeed. Speaking to Arsenal Media, he said: “It’s Madrid, you have to respect that and accept what they’ve done in the history, but tomorrow anything can happen, so we can’t focus too much on that. It would mean a lot to us [to win]. It’s the first time the club has been in back-to-back Champions League quarter-finals for a while now, so tomorrow night we want to take the next step and try and get over the line.”
Arsenal is fully aware of the magnitude of the challenge ahead, but they also know that success at this level requires courage, discipline, and composure. While it is certain to be a demanding evening, there is confidence that, if they deliver their best performance, they are capable of achieving the result they need.

I like what Arsenal are doing this time ,when people think they are down ,they rise up to abig occasion to even challenge fans,it’s their time to challenge us again.Hope Arteta will give us a new style of the game from out of the blues.wont be surprised if Saka starts on the right and martinelli on the left.
If that were true it wouldn’t be 21 years without a title sadly
Dan,
👍👍👍👍👍😉
Dan. Ken is right, have seen on many occasions, it’s in their DNA now.
Arsenal always comes good when their back against the wall
Well it’s factually not true
If we lose tonight, I don’t think we will have much of a chance.
If we draw, I think it may get Madrid a bit nervous, but by saying that they will still be strong favourites!
I’m backing the boys for a victory tonight, COYG!
