Mikel Arteta is expected to win trophies at Arsenal by the end of this season, with his team having progressed deep into three tournaments.

“Look, the pressure is on because the money’s been spent, and he’s had what he’s asked for.
“He has been given the backing, so of course the pressure is on, as it should be with a manager who gets what he wants. There’s got to be an element of pressure, and you’ve got to be able to handle it at the top, that’s what makes the winners.
“And so look, I’ve got no sympathy for him. I mean, he wanted it. You ask any manager, would you like to have that pressure? Of course they would, because it would mean they’re doing well.”

This season must conclude successfully for Arsenal, as they have reached advanced stages in multiple competitions. Failing to win any silverware would be a significant embarrassment, given the progress they have made. After finding out that Chelsea have been cheating since 2005 and city115 are rumoured to be getting a 40 to 60 point deduction for the same offence, I suggest these pundits take a deep breath and look at what the above means to out club.
For instance, the Chavs beating us in a European final, while city115 beat us by just 2 and 5 points in the PL.
There are many more examples of how these two parasite clubs conned the PL and every club that played in it since they started cheating.
So, no I don’t think the pressure is justified after finding out about these two parasites, the deck was stacked against him from the very beginning.

How many managers in Prem football present a case for a £250M spend to upgrade their team to mount a premier challenge against the odds and shortly after receiving that cash then go on to spend a substantial part of it on one player at £100m? how many persisted with a keeper up until they show to be world despite the furor? I won’t bore you with his world class C/B pairing, I could go on but my point is not many can present a case for a £250M+ kitty, spend it and be schedule to repay it all back by our current champions league stint. This is only a snapshot but it speaks volumes about our multi-lingual, multi-talented, yet under-appreciated Manager.
I am an Arteta flag-waver without apology. I see he is young, in managers terms and that he has left a noteworthy imprint on this club already. It is time he is rewarded with at least 1 Premier Lg Title for his vision, hard work & endeavor. COYG!

Pressure in the premier league comes in various forms. It’s surely better to have scrutiny knowing that it’s down to our current league and cup positions? Rather have that than stressing about a relegation dog fight.
I wasn’t always positive about the Kroenkes, but they’ve backed their man. That said, Emery was backed financially during his brief spell. Arteta is trying every means possible to win the league and it’s looking to be a close race. The loss in the Carabao Cup final was a blow, but still having 3 trophies to fight for is fantastic.
